At Wilhemshaven in northern Germany, the dolphin berth for this supply vessel had one major fault: it wasn't connected to shore! Dock Marine had to find a solution... Thanks to a pontoon made from T-shaped RotoDock elements, the crew can now reach dry land, while the boat remains firmly moored to the dolphins. The exceptional stability of the RotoDock pontoon means that sections only 1.50 m wide can be used, reducing the cost of installation despite the considerable length of the main pontoon (16 metres). A 6-metre aluminium walkway allows the whole structure to follow the tidal movements of Jade Bay, Germany's largest natural harbour.
