Anchoring by chain or rope

Anchoring your dock using chains, cables or elastomers to dead weights or helical anchors is recommended in different circumstances: when the water level is high, or anchoring on pipes to be screwed can’t be used (rocky ground), when the constraints in terms of swell, waves or current are important (the latitude left by this type of anchors allow some movement and better absorption of waves of water), when a cheaper alternative to anchoring on piles is needed.

Linking the chains, elastomers or cables to the dock sections can be done on galvanized or stainless steel brackets, or polyethylene brackets.
