Marin d'Eau Douce puts its faith in our Rotodock floating docks

RotoDock floating docks have been installed in Meaux (77) for Marin d'Eau Douce's new boat hire centre.

Marin d'Eau Douce offers cruises on board electric boats that do not require a permit. Located at Le Bassin de la Villette in Paris since 2014, the company has launched a new nautical centre in Meaux, on the edge of the river Marne. Ten or so five to 11-seater boats are available for exploring the 20km of navigable waterways upstream of the town.

The facilitate passenger boarding and disembarkation, a RotoDock floating dock in a 'T' configuration has been installed. Anchored by two double brackets and stainless steel cables in a diagonal cross shape, the main platform is 18.00m long and is traversed by a 2.00m structure. Corner braces reinforce the connection and a polyethylene gangway fitted with a drawbridge system allows access to the structure. The floating dock has also been fitted with several mooring cleats, electrical terminals and a lifebuoy.

We wish the entire team at Marin d'Eau Douce an excellent 2017 season.
