RotoDock

In Wilhemshaven in northern Germany, the dolphin berth of this bunker ship had one big flaw: it was not connected to land! Dock Marine had to find a solution... Thanks to a pontoon made of RotoDock T-shaped elements, the crew can now reach land, while the boat remains firmly moored to the dolphins. The exceptional stability of the RotoDock pontoon allows the use of sections only 1.50 m wide, which reduces the cost of the installation despite the long length of the main pontoon (16 metres). A 6m aluminium walkway allows the whole structure to follow the tidal movements of Jade Bay, Germany's largest natural harbour.
