Floating RotoDock Pontoons for Val Cenis Mountain Lake
RotoDock
Located at 1,974 meters above sea level, the Val Cenis leisure base on Lake Mont Cenis faces harsh conditions: strong winds, remote access, and rapid water level rise (over 1 meter per day) in summer.
To ensure a smooth operation of kayak and pedal boat rentals, the Val Cenis SEM turned to Dock Marine for a reliable floating solution.
Modular RotoDock pontoon system for high-altitude lakes
-
5 RotoDock sections of 2.00 x 3.00 m were installed to form the central axis
-
6 sections of 1.00 x 3.00 m act as side catways
-
Corner reinforcements provide added structural strength
This fully modular system is easy to assemble, dismantle, and store, making it ideal for high-altitude or difficult-access water bodies.
This project demonstrates the resilience and flexibility of floating pontoons for isolated and sensitive environments.
