Floating docks for a leisure centre in Grand-Guéret

Two floating docks have been installed on the River Creuse for a leisure centre in Anzême. The pontoons will be used to moor various boats.

The Monts de Guéret outdoor activity centre in Anzême has fitted its lake with floating docks. These will be used to moor the various boats such as canoes, pedal boats and small boats, etc. Finger pontoons and polyethylene mooring cleats have also been installed to facilitate mooring operations.

The pontoons were anchored using auger anchors to allow for the significant fluctuations in water level in this section of the River Creuse. A gangway with rollers will also help the structures adapt to the river's variable water levels.
